Seboomook Cabin

We did enjoy some aspects of our stay, but would never do a return visit to this cabin. First off the keyless entry did not work, couldn’t lock the door and a maintenance man had to come out to repair.The views were stunning and property location was ideal. The worst was the bathroom, the toilet is way to low, and the bath/shower/jacuzzis is an accident waiting to happen. Floor of bath is slippery as heck. I slipped and was able to catch myself by grabbing the shower curtain. My wife was not as lucky, even though I mentioned how slippery it was she fell, no serious injury but there could have been. Absolutely not a shower or bath an elderly can use safely. Getting in and out of it is very challenging.Kitchen area was very nice everything you could possibly need was there.Never did figure out why two pails were hanging from the ceiling, assume roof leaks? Hot water was hot, hot, hot. Actually it should be checked, could easily scald someone.Beds are way too high off the floor. But very comfortable and clean.Description of cabin was rustic, absolutely agree and was ready for that. Wasn’t ready for unsafe.

Everything was excellent! Beautiful place, great communication throughout. Hope to go again next year, or maybe even this summer!

What a gorgeous place to stay. Sea planes flying over. Saw the katahdin on the lake doing a tour. The cabin is so nice. Very clean and cozy. Host was very accomodating. Will definately be back

2nd year in a row, love the cabin and our host checked in on us the whole time to make sure we had everything we needed
